What will Innsbruck be like in May?

Can you advise whether it will be busy and bustling like a normal city in May or will a lot of hotels and restaurants be closed because its not winter skiing season and not yet summer hiking season? A lot of places in switzerland seem to close just wondered if it was the same in austria>?
