Want to go skiing. Where would you recommend?

One week at the end of January.
Want short airport transfer, accommodation close to slopes, and good apres-ski / nightlife.
Looking at Europe only, e.g. France, Austria, Italy
Any advice / recommendations welcome! Thnx
IK would go to France, as they have the best resorts. I would either go to Trois Vallees ski domain or Tignes / Val D’Isere because both offer over 300 km of runs and all levels of skiing.
