Marbella or Courchevel?

Have been invited away with friends for Christmas to Marbella, really nice apartment, good warm weather (but will that feel like Christmas)?, or perhaps do what I wanted to do earlier in the year and go skiing…..(have never been before). Opinions please
Definitely Courchevel if you want a white Christmas…
Marbella is more a "summer sun and fun" place, although in the winter the weather is a lot warmer than anywhere else in Europe, which is an advantage if you need some sun.
Christmas is not very "christmasy" in Spain, so if you want more christmas spirit, go skiing in France!
Both places are grand, you'll have a difficult choice!
